Registration Is Open At LVS Online - Where Learning Is Fun!
More than 100 online courses are now open for enrollment
The Introduction to Windows class is FREE! Students must have an LVS Account to access the classroom. There is instructor support via the classroom message board.
LVS students are eligible for Corel educational version software from the Corel Education Store. This includes CorelDraw, Painter, and Paint Shop Pro! Check out the LVS News page for more information and details on special offers!
As a benefit to enrolled LVS students, special offers are made available by famous software developers such as Andromeda, AV Bros, Extensis, Harry Heim (the PlugIn Site), namesuppressed, Nik Multimedia, and Ulead. As in the past, registered LVS students are eligible to purchase some of their favorite programs at a student discount through our Academic Reseller program.

Blogging is taking the world by storm and at the heart of its power lies its immediacy of publishing information, the ease of setting up and maintaining a blog and its interaction with its users. Blogs are used for everything from private family updates to journals to product reviews to photo journals to political podiums.
During this course, you will learn about the art and science of blogging. We will use the popular and FREE WordPress software to install and administer our blog. We touch upon styling the blog to match your style and topic. We will cover how to write engaging titles and blog posts, how to use blog directories, how to build authority in the blogging world and how to share your blog with others. We will focus on the interactive nature of blogging and how to increase participation on your blog without a lot of spam.
Not all blogs will gain you fame and fortune but they all can be fun! For those blog topics that are conducive to it, we will also cover revenue streams like tip jars, affiliates, advertisements and sponsorships.

It has been said that the best way to defeat your enemy is to study it thoroughly. In my opinion, the worst enemy to any human being is a disease of any kind.
Home Diagnostics course familiarizes students with the symptoms and treatments of the common diseases of the twenty-first century; starting with flu and ending with cancer. First, students will be briefly introduced to how the body naturally works to fight diseases. Then, students will be introduced to the causes ands symptoms of each ailment and the possible treatments available; whether it is medication or surgery. Students will also be taught how to prevent the occurrence of each disease altogether. This course is intended to teach students how to become their own doctors, at least temporarily.
The end of the course will cover home diagnostic products available in the market nowadays such as the glucose test kit or the ovulation kit. It will also introduce the concept of telemedicine and how some day in the near future hospitals will be just a click away. Visit our

his class introduces you to the basics of Photoshop Elements 6. Topics covered include navigating the workspace, using tools and palettes, creating images from scratch, applying quick fixes to photos, saving images and choosing appropriate file formats, working with layers and layer styles, and applying special effect filters.
This class is designed for users who are new to Photoshop Elements 6. In the class, you'll learn the basics of Photoshop Elements 6, both for creating original graphics images and for improving and enhancing digital photos.
