Is it safe to use my credit card online?
Yes. We encrypt all of your personal information, including your credit card number, when it is sent over the Internet using SSL (secure socket layer) technology. When your browser is in secure mode an unbroken key or lock icon will appear at the bottom right corner of the window. This indicates that the transaction is secure. Once the credit card transaction is processed, the credit card information is removed from the server.

When will my credit card be charged?
Credit cards for instructor-led classes are processed a week or two before the session begins. When supplying your credit card expiration date, please take the transaction date into consideration.
Credit cards for self-study classes are processed immediately. Students have access to the classroom as soon as the registration and credit card transaction is processed.

How do I register for classes?
- Click on the Registration link found on the LVS navigation menu. You will be taken the Registration site's main page.
Note: Your browser must be set to accept cookies to use the secure form.
- If you have not created an account, click on the My Account link and do so now. Follow the instructions under the Create Account section.
If you already created your LVS Account, click on the My Account link and sign in.
- Once signed into your LVS Account, click a course topic in the Available Courses list on the left.
- Click on a course name to read the course description and prerequisites.
- Click on the Add to Registration button at the bottom of the page.
- When finished selecting courses to add to your registration, click on the Register button. This will take you to the secure area of the registration form where you will enter your payment options
- When you reach the Enrollment Confirmation page, be sure to click on the Confirm Registration button! You will then see the Success page and a registration confirmation will automatically be sent to your email address.
Be sure to visit the Class Information page for important class information. The link is provided on the Success page as well as in your registration confirmation.

How do I access my registration account?
- Click on the "My Account" link in the left side navigation menu.
- In the Log In section on that page, enter the email address¹ and password² that you provided when you created your account.
- If you don't recall your account password, click on the "Forgot Password" link below the password field.
- Check your email inbox. A temporary password to access your account will be sent to you automatically from the server - it is the 4 characters listed AFTER your IP address. It will look something like this:

- Once signed in, you may then change your account password back to something you can easily remember. The links to view/edit your account information will appear on the "My Account Information" page.
NOTE¹: If you don't remember your email address - contact LVS and provide your first and last name. We will look up your email address in the database. Do not create a new account with a new email address as the system will not recognize you as a returning student.
NOTE²: LVS does not have access to your account password.

How do I remove a course from my registration?
Before the registration is finished, check the Remove box next to the course name that you want to delete then click on the Update button.
Once the registration is submitted, no changes can be made. You must submit a new registration and enter "cancel registration #xxxx" in the comments section.
